QR CODE

QR code ( Quick Response Code) ( two-dimensional barcode) first designed in Japan. A QR Code is a two-dimensional barcode that is readable by smartphones. It allows to encode over 4000 characters in a two dimensional barcode. QR Codes may be used to display text to the user, to open a URL, save a contact to the address book or to compose text messages. "QR Code" is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED.
The QR Code system has become popular due to its fast readability and greater storage capacity compared to other barcodes. Applications include  item identification, product tracking, time tracking, document management, general marketing, and much more.
A QR code consists of black modules (square dots) arranged in a square grid on a white background, which can be read by an imaging device (such as a camera) and processed using Reed–Solomon error correction until the image can be appropriately interpreted; data is then extracted from patterns present in both horizontal and vertical components of the image. Now QR code reader can be downloaded in your mobile.
